Sahitya AkademiRecruitment 2022: Sahitya Akademi has recently announced the latest notification for Stenographer Posts. Interested Candidates are requested to use a job vacancy notification for the details of educational qualifications, age limit, selection process, how to apply for important dates, and the application form given below.
The candidates must have passed Post Graduate degree from a recognized University in a language /literature recognized by the Akademi. Good Knowledge of Hindi/English and one or more Indian languages of the region concerned. Five years of experience in copy editing literary and scholarly manuscripts, assigning and executing translations, and overseeing them through the various stages of production. Basic knowledge of computer applications. or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Sales-cum-Exhibition Assistant
The candidates must have passed Graduation, have Knowledge of selling books, and the latest methods of sales promotion techniques. Three years experience in a publishing house or a distribution agency of repute or a Govt. undertaking concerned with book publishing. Basic knowledge of computer applications or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Senior Accountant
The candidates must have passed Graduation in Commerce, and 5 years of experience in accounting. Knowledge of Govt. rules and regulations. Ability to prepare various forms of accounts. Basic knowledge of computer applications or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Sub Editor (Hindi)
The candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts in Hindi, Minimum of 2 years of experience in a subordinate capacity in the editorial office of a periodical. Knowledge of the contemporary literary scene in Hindi and awareness of the major trends in at least two other Indian languages. Basic knowledge of computer applications. or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Sub Editor (English)
The candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Arts in English, Minimum of 2 years of experience in a subordinate capacity in the editorial office of a periodical. Knowledge of the contemporary literary scene in Hindi and awareness of the major trends in at least two other Indian languages. Basic knowledge of computer applications or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Technical Assistant
The candidates must have passed Graduation, a Diploma in Book Publishing, 5 years’ experience in a printing press or a publishing house, or a Govt. undertaking concerned with book publishing. Knowledge of various processes of printing and book publishing. Good knowledge of one or more Indian languages and literature with the ability to edit literary material. Basic knowledge of computer applications. or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Receptionist-cum-Telephone Operator
The candidates must have passed Graduation, Should have proficiency in Hindi and English, and have two years of experience in operating the EPABX system of the latest technology. Clear voice and pleasant manners or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Stenographer Grade-II
The candidates must have passed 10+2, 80 w.p.m. speed in shorthand, and good speed in typing in English/Hindi. Good knowledge of computer applications. 1-year experience as Stenographer. or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Maximum Age (Assistant Editor, Exhibition Assistant, Senior Accountant)
40 years
Maximum Age (Sub Editor English/ Hindi, Technical Assistant)
35 years
Maximum Age (Receptionist-cum-Telephone Operator, Stenographer)
